Jason Wang serves as the CEO of Xi’an Famous Foods, a chain of family-owned Chinese restaurants in New York City, Boston, and Virginia. In this role, Jason Wang manages daily operations, leads business strategy, and oversees financial performance across all locations of the growing restaurant group. Xi’an Famous Foods specializes in cuisine from the city of Xi’an, China, and has become known for maintaining high standards of authenticity and food quality.
With a undergraduate degree in business from Washington University in St. Louis, Mr. Wang initially pursued corporate internships at Yahoo! and Wachovia Securities. His father’s establishment of Xi’an Famous Foods in 2005 reconnected him to his culinary roots, leading him to join his father at the restaurant. They went into business together two years later, since which Mr. Wang has refined operational systems and implemented a performance-driven culture to support sustainable growth.
Today, Jason Wang continues to play a key role in identifying expansion opportunities and navigating the competitive landscape. Under his guidance, Xi’an Famous Foods has grown to include over a dozen locations across New York. Mr. Wang is a past nominee for the James Beard Awards and has earned recognition on listings by Zagat, Forbes, and Crain’s New York Business.
